Product information

Begin to cast on sts for the mitten and inc sts on each side of one marked st on each side of mitten. When all sts have been inc, cont in rnds according to diagram. Knit in a marking thread to indicate position for thumb. Dec on each side of marked sts to shape at wrist for a comfortable fit, and end with ribbing. Knit up sts for thumb on each side of marking thread and work thumb with St-st in rnds. Felt mittens in washing machine when finished.

TENSION: 15 sts St-st with 5.5 mm ndls = 10 cm

SUGGESTED KNITTING NEEDLES: Circular or double pointed 5 mm and 5.5 mm

  • Knitting Needles: Knitting Needle no. 5½
  • Knitting tension: 15 sts = 10 cm

The number of balls is based on the given dimensions. If you want longer garments, please remember that you may need extra yarn.
