Work sweater from neck down, with pattern according to diagram i Mandarin Petit.
The sweater is part of a set. The pattern contains the pattern for a sweater, diaper pants and bonnet.
Beg to cast on sts for the back and work until underarms. Cont to knit up sts on shoulders for left and right side of front. Work dec and inc at neck side, and at the same time work turning rows. Join fronts and work until underarms. Join back and front, cont in rnds and end with ribbing. Knit up sts at edge of armholes for sleeves, and work sleeves in rnds with pattern. Dec evenly spaced at underarm and end with ribbing. Work neckband.
