Emerson Dress
Emerson Dress in Alpakka Silke and Alpakka Følgetråd – a slightly flared dress that suits many body types. Knitted from the top down with elegant increases, it can be worn on its own, layered underneath, or with a sweater over it. The soft yarn blend adds a luxurious feel, perfect all year round.
Pattern for Emerson Dress in Sunday and Tynn Silk Mohair is included.
Work dress from top down.
Begin to cast on sts for left side front, and work back and forth with inc on each side. Repeat this for right side front, before the two sides are joined to one, and cont back and forth with inc in each side until underarms.
Work back in same manner. Then join back and front, and work in rnds with inc, until dividing work for slit.
Work edgings on back and front, and on armhole edgings and straps.
The model in the first pictures is 176 cm tall and is wearing size M, while the model in the last pictures is 180 cm tall and is wearing size M.
- Knitting Needles: Knitting Needle no. 3, Knitting Needle no. 3½, Crochet Needle no. 3, Crochet Needle no. 3½
- Knitting tension: 23 sts = 10 cm
- Accessories: Optional: Thin, elastic cord to pull through straps and through edging at back and front.
The number of balls is based on the given dimensions. If you want longer garments, please remember that you may need extra yarn.
