We’re so excited for you to finally say hello to our new Sandnes Garn Cashmere! If you’ve never knitted with cashmere before, you’re in for a treat – it’s soft in a truly unique way. The yarn is made from the undercoat of the cashmere goat, making it warm, lightweight, and luxurious – perfect for those extra-special projects. We’ve designed a small collection of four different scarves, each with versatile styling options.

Petra scarf

The scarf is designed by Regitze Stentebjerg and is knitted with a lace pattern following a chart. You cast on the full width, then decrease stitches at each edge and in the center, as shown in the chart. The scarf can be styled in many ways and is a little treasure in your wardrobe.

Triangle shawl

The shawl is knitted back and forth in stockinette stitch with an i-cord edge on both sides.
You begin by casting on stitches to establish the i-cord edge, then increase stitches on one
side until the desired width is reached. From there, you decrease stitches on the same side.

Agnes head scarf

The kerchief is designed by Regitze Stentebjerg and is knitted with a lace pattern following a chart. You cast on stitches for the full width, then decrease stitches at each edge and in the center of the piece as shown in the chart. Finally, i-cord ties are knitted for fastening. The scarf is just as beautiful worn as a headscarf as it is around the neck.

Lacey scarf

The scarf is knitted back and forth in a lace pattern. Increases are worked first,
followed by decreases along the left edge to shape the two points. An i-cord
edge is knitted along both sides as you go. The scarf comes in two sizes: S and M.
