Work dress from neck down in St-st. Begin to cast on sts for left and right side of back, work parts separately and inc to shape neckline. Join parts and inc to shape armholes. Work left and right side front in same manner, but with a deeper neckline. Join work and cont St-st in rnds, and with inc for A-line shape. At finish work 5 rnds of scallops evenly spaced at lower part of skirt, as small layers. Work scallop edgings on armholes and neckline.
