Holly Slipover
Holly Slipover is worked from the top down in Tynn Peer Gynt and Tynn Silk Mohair, holding one strand of each quality together. The slipover features a charted pattern, European shoulder construction and finished edges around the neck and armholes.
The slipover is worked from the top down, holding 1 strand of each quality together. Stitches are first cast on for the back, which is worked back and forth with increases for the European shoulder construction. The charted pattern is worked while increases are made for the armholes. Stitches are then picked up for each front piece before the front pieces are joined to form one front. The charted pattern is worked while increases are made for the armholes. The front is joined with the back, and the work is continued in the round in the charted pattern to the desired length. Stitches are picked up around each armhole for the armhole edgings before stitches are picked up for the neckband.
