Pants with straps worked from waist down in Sunday.
Tight fitting pants in ribbing with high waist and straps. Work from waist down. Beg to work straps, and cast on sts for waist band. Work turning rows for extra height at back, and inc for gusset between legs. Shape heel by working turning rows. Fasten overlapping straps at middle front and middle back. Rib pattern is elastic and “grows” with the child for pants to be usable for a long time. For pants without foot, end with rib edging.

- Knitting tension: 28 sts = 10 cm, 32 sts = 10 cm
